Set along an arcing road, this apartment building contains three floors of accommodation which densifies the existing site condition to be commensurate with its adjacencies and prevailing typology.

The composition of the home is driven by the loggia and entrance portico. The layered external composition will ensure a mature and commensurate architectural aesthetic to all façades. The south facing brick loggia negotiates the contrasting urban conditions of the detached dwellings whilst the arched entrance portico is a generous feature that is inspired by several arched structures in the vicinity. The layered composition also creates a buffer between the private domain of the home and the public one; creating depth, shadow and detail to the street front. The architecture protects the domestic interior - mediated by the recessed private balconies - and contributes to the urban landscape.
